While I've been working online from home and gazing daisily out the window (below), Brian's been busy feeding the wood stove, making breakfast, splitting and epoxying boards, building furniture from woods scraps, organizing sundries, and tearing out wall panels to reveal spectacular antworks. We have a few leaks and some extinct ant colonies - the photo shows the hidden aftermath of a sudden and unfortunate war between us and the ants two years ago.
Don't worry, I will post some humans on here soon and not just awesome itinerant wildlife. This fellow grazes by most days and isn't much concerned with us. The buds are finally appearing, snow is melting, and he's spending more and more time away from his mom.
That is one handsome moose.
